It’s pretty accurate to say that traveling with me is very similar to traveling with a 3 year old. Like, I understand we’re supposed to be on some sort of agenda, I comprehend that I should be looking in front of myself while I walk through busy sidewalks and streets, but instead I lose all sense of direction and social normalities because I’m too busy admiring the shape of moss along the side of a building. And that’s me in like normal places – local parks, my backyard, etc. Charleston was a whole other situation of wondering ridiculousness for me. It was gorgeousness overload as I strolled along the cobblestone streets and tip toed through what I quickly realized were privately owned gardens. Each and every home had unique architecture to lose yourself in, and the history – ohhh myyyy goodnesssss the historyyyyy – it was all too much and I loved EVERYTHING about it! I can’t thank my dear friend, Christa from Christa Alexandra Designs, enough for being the most patient human alive. She embraced my determination to see anything and everything this beautiful place had to offer! I can’t wait to return to Charleston (hopefully to photograph a wedding – fingers crossed)!
